I am not in network with any insurance companies but I am happy to provide a Superbill with the necessary codes if you are interested in submitting to insurance for reimbursement.

I offer therapy that is unique to you, and based on your goals for therapy.
In general, we will start with a 20 minute video call so that I can learn a little about you and what is bringing you to therapy. The most important indicator of success in therapy is a good fit with your therapist, so our video call is also a chance for you to get a sense of what it might be like to be in therapy with me, and ask any questions you have.
In our first full length session I want to hear all about what you are in therapy to work on and what are your goals. I will ask you some questions about your early and current life, but I tend to gather background over several sessions so we can focus on what it is that you are wanting to work on from the very first session.
I draw from several different therapeutic orientations and while I am always using all of them to some degree, we will do therapy in the way that is best based on your goals.

I offer weekly psychotherapy sessions. I don’t see clients for every other week sessions or occasional sessions.
I have daytime and evening sessions, I do not see clients on the weekends.
Cancellations that are less than 48 hours in advance are charged the full session fee. I will do my best to accommodate rescheduling within the same week. However, if a request to reschedule is made within the 48 hour window and we are not able to reschedule, I will charge the full session fee. I do not charge for late cancellations due to illness.

I return phone calls, texts and emails within 24 business hours (usually much sooner). I don’t offer weekend sessions and as an extension of that I try not to reply to communications on the weekends. I can occasionally make an exception under certain circumstances, but if you are feeling like you regularly need support between sessions this is something we can discuss and decide together what other sources of support might be needed.
